Comprehensive Answers
I’ve compiled a list of the most frequent questions that I have received over my career. It’s normal and encouraged for patients to ask questions when choosing to work with a new clinician.
If you can’t find what you are looking for, please get in touch.

What happens if we're just not a good fit?
Finding the right therapist is like finding a good shoe. What works for your best friend might be too narrow, too wide, too high, or too flat for you. You can feel when a shoe fits just right. The same can be said for clinicians. Sometimes you have to try a few on before you know what works for you. If you ever feel as though the therapeutic relationship just isn't right for you, I invite you to bring that up in session. I welcome the opportunity to discuss it with you and would be happy to provide you with possible referrals - no hard feelings.

Do you offer sliding scale rates?
I do have a limited number of sliding scale openings. Once these spots are filled, I will not be able to accept more sliding scale clients until one of the current clients terminates and their spot becomes available again.

How long does each therapy session take?
I offer different session types which all vary in time. I have listed each session type and time below:
Consultations: 10 -15 minutes
Individual Intake: 1 hour
Individual weekly/ bi-weekly session: 50 minutes
Family/ couple Intake: 1.5 hours
Family couple weekly/ bi-weekly session: 50 minutes
